DIVE BOATS

Blyth Catamarans design and build dive vessels that meet the practical demands of professional, technical, and commercial diving operations. Our catamarans are engineered to deliver a combination of high performance, stability, safety, and operational efficiency, making them ideal platforms for intensive dive activities in both coastal and offshore environments.

Each dive boat is custom-built, from intial design to copletion, allowing layout, capacity, and equipment to be tailored to the specific requirements of the operator. Particular attention is given to deck space, weight distribution, and diver movement, ensuring safe and efficient operations before, during, and after each dive.

Capacity and Deck Space

The number of divers that can be safely carried depends on the vessel’s length and deck configuration. As a typical example, a 12-metre catamaran can be designed to accommodate up to 12 technical divers, along with all associated scuba, gas, and safety equipment. The wide beam and twin-hull design provide excellent stability, reduced roll, and generous working space, even when fully loaded.

Deck layouts are planned to allow clear access routes, organised equipment storage, and smooth diver deployment and recovery, minimising congestion during critical phases of operation.

Performance & Build Quality

Blyth Catamarans’ dive vessels are constructed using proven marine-grade materials (GRP) and industry best practices. The catamaran hull form offers excellent fuel efficiency, shallow draft options, and enhanced manoeuvrability, making our vessels suitable for a wide range of dive operations.

Every build is completed to meet applicable marine standards and classification requirements, ensuring confidence in safety, compliance, and performance.

Whether the vessel is intended for technical diving, commercial work, research support, or charter operations, Blyth Catamarans works closely with clients throughout the design and build process. This collaborative approach ensures the final vessel is perfectly suited to its intended role and ready for real-world operational demands.
